PRE RACE REGISTRATION
Pre race info & registration: Pre Race Registration will be at the Whitianga Hotel in Blacksmith Lane on the Friday beforehand from 4pm to 8pm. Race day packs can be collected from there including your race number/timing transponder. Race Packs can be picked up on your behalf by a friend. Otherwise Race day packs can be picked up from Race HQ (Buffalo Beach) on the morning of the event between 7.30am and 8.30am. Late registrations will be accepted in person at pre race registration (Whitianga Hotel) if capacity has not been reached.
Will there be late registrations?
These will be done in person at the pre race registration and higher fees will apply. You can pay by eftpos or cash.
What if I can't make the pre race registration?
Your race number can be picked up by somone else on your behalf with ID. Otherwise race packs will be available to collect from Race HQ (Buffalo Beach Reserve) on Saturday morning from 7.30am until 8.30am.

2km Kids Beach DashRegistration is on the day and the entry fee is a gold coin donation. Must be under 16 years old.
We welcome both runners and walkers to this event. There will be different start times for both, please check the race day schedule, however we do not have seperate categories for runners and walkers.
HOW DO I REGISTER?
You can register from this website from November.
WHAT ARE THE SPOT PRIZES?
There are $ thousands of dollars worth of awesome spot prizes up for grabs that will be announced on this website and Facebook in January.
WHAT IF I DONT FINISH THE RUN?
Only people who cross the finish line will be classified as finishers. If you pull off the course, please let Race Control know you have withdrawn from the event - See the phone number on your race bib.
WHAT IF IT RAINS?
The event will take place if it rains. Only a severe storm may stop the event. Any possible cancellations will be advertised on this website, facebook and by an email to all participants.
Up to 30 March - Full refunds given minus a $15 admin fee.
1 April to 30 April - 50% of entry fee will be refunded.
From 1 May - No refunds will be given.
There are no transfers of entries to other runners.
There will be heaps of random spot prizes for all entrants. These will be announced at Prize giving at Race HQ at 2pm and entrants must be there to claim the prize. There will be some amazing spot prizes from local business, these will be announced on here and Facebook in the lead up to the event.
We will have 6 aid stations throughout the course and at Race HQ on Buffalo Beach reserve. Please refer to the Course Map for locations. There will be two at Race HQ, one at Brophys beach, one at the Esplanade, one at Robinson Road and one on Joan Gaskill Drive. Aid Stations will include Event staff, First Aid kits, Water and electrolyte drink available.
The Organiser Element Events will make every possible effort to ensure this event takes place. However certain circumstances may arise that means the event will have to be cancelled, delayed by a few hours or modified. These circumstances include, without limitation; fires, flood, storms, explosion, acts of God, war, governmental actions or non-performance by third parties. In the rare case that the event is cancelled, delayed or modified, due to circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Element Events, then Element Events will not be held responsible for offering any refunds to participants.
